Workshop #1 - An Overview of CAPACITY BUILDING & ASSET-BASED MAPPING

An introductory presentation on what this topic is, how it came about, the basic steps in Capacity Building, and how an Asset-Map is designed.  An opportunity to  employ the basic Capacity Building steps will be practiced on a fictitious setting and situation.

Workshop #2 - Putting Asset-Mapping Into Practice

This advanced workshop builds off the first one with a quick review of the basic Capacity Building and Asset-Mapping concepts.  Small groups will be formed out of the class for the purpose of designing an Asset Map based on research information on a specifically identified community need.
